What should a new client know about working with you?

I use a person-centered approach by utilizing therapeutic interventions that are tailored to the clients needs. I have received extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivation Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Strength Based therapy to list a few.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The primary goal is to work towards developing symptom management techniques and coping strategies. This can be accomplished by assisting the client in working towards resolving both past and present issues. We will work together to learn how to manage triggers that cause symptoms such as depression, anxiety, irritability and difficulty managing mood. I have a genuine interest in working with people to help them overcome challenges to improve their quality of life.
