Hello, my name is Kizzy Griffin. I am a licensed LPC with over 8 years of experience providing strength-based and person-centered counseling services. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Texas State University and a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas A&M University. I utilize person-centered and strength-based practices to promote the "Power of Self." These approaches empower individuals to direct their therapeutic process. Establishing a safe zone and welcoming client feedback allows us to use methods that effectively manage difficulties, promote personal growth, and accomplish personal goals. I also provide therapy services to individuals exploring their sexuality, those who are sexually fluent, and those experiencing changes in sexual functioning. My experience over the last 8 years includes working with life transitions (military and civilian), intimacy barriers, sexuality connections, depression, anxiety, LGBTQIA+ challenges, trauma, race-related trauma, military trauma, PTSD, and addiction. My purpose is to help uplift and contribute to the healing of others while affirming individuals from all ethnic backgrounds. As life happens, you do not have to walk your journey alone.
