KJ Jolly is a pre-licensed provider working under the supervision of a licensed practitioner With my lived experience as a queer and trans clinician, I am passionate about serving marginalized communities using evidence-based therapies and frameworks rooted in Feminist Theory, Queer Theory, and Liberation Psychology. What should a new client know about working with you?

After scheduling your visit with ZocDoc I will be looking to connect with you via email for a consultation before our first visit. Additionally, while our first visit will be a telehealth appointment, I do offer in person therapy for those interested and I am happy to discuss your preference during our initial appointment. We will slow down to listen to your brain and body, as we explore the identities, communities, and the systems you navigate in your daily life. I have experience supporting emerging adults navigating concerns related to depression, anxiety, gender, sexuality, identity exploration, trauma, ADHD, and Autism.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Whether you’re feeling stuck, burnt out, or like everyone else got the manual on how to be a person—you weren’t meant to figure this out alone. Therapy can be a space to move forward and reconnect with who you are beneath the masks and survival strategies that have kept you afloat. I believe growth happens through genuine connection, when we feel safe to show up fully with ourselves and in our relationships. I use a grounded and collaborative approach that is individualized to fit your needs. Each client brings their own strengths and wisdom to the therapeutic relationship.
