Hello! I'm K'Lee Gonzales, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with about 8 years of experience in the mental health profession. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with adults, children, and families in various environments. My journey in mental health has equipped me with extensive experience in behavioral health intake assessments, facilitating groups, individual therapy, brief family therapy, treatment planning, and discharge planning. Before becoming an LPC, I served as a case manager for several organizations, including juvenile probation, Catholic Charities, and Texas Panhandle Centers. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from West Texas A&M University and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Wayland Baptist University. Currently, I'm pursuing my PhD in Counselor Education and am a proud doctoral candidate at Texas Tech University. I specialize in working with adults who are dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, and anger issues. My therapeutic approach is centered around helping individuals learn and develop new coping skills that they can use both during therapy and in their future endeavors. I believe in creating a supportive and understanding environment where clients feel heard and empowered. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy playing video games, listening to music, working out, reading, and writing poetry. These activities help me stay grounded and bring a sense of balance to my life. I'm currently located in the West Texas area and am proud to offer telehealth services, making therapy accessible and convenient for you.
