Korey received her master of social work degree from DePaul University, with an emphasis on Community Practice. Through previous work experience, Korey has developed a passion for working with women with substance use disorder diagnosis’ as well as assisting seniors as they transition towards end of life planning. Korey utilizes a holistic, client and solution focused, strength based approach. Her treatment includes therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness and Harm-Reduction..
