My name is Kourtenay Nash, the Licensed Therapist. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with honors from the University of Central Florida, where my passion for understanding the human mind took root. Building on that foundation, I pursued a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with honors from Stetson University.
As a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida, I have had the privilege of working in various settings that have shaped my professional journey. I have experience working in inpatient behavioral hospitals, providing care and support to individuals in need of intensive treatment. Additionally, I have worked in outpatient and private practice settings, where I had the opportunity to collaborate with community resources, such as Children's Protective Services, serving diverse populations and backgrounds.
My work is fueled by a deep dedication to improving people's mental health and well-being. I firmly believe that everyone deserves access to quality mental health care, and it is my mission to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals throughout Florida. I am enthusiastic about continuing to serve the wonderful people of Florida, utilizing my expertise, compassion, and commitment.

I was very nervous going into therapy and how I would grow within that framework. Kourtenay made the entire process simple and has been so supportive of me taking it slow. I have never felt pressured or pushed. I find I look forward to my sessions every week and see the toolset she has equipped me with in my daily workings. I feel like I am starting to truly understand myself and it is all with her gentle guiding.

Kourtenay is the best therapist I’ve ever had! She’s such a great listener and does a great job of balancing providing guidance and solutions and meeting me where I’m at. I also love that she gently challenges me and brings in science to help me understand my mental health logically and emotionally. She’s the best!!!
