Hello, I'm Krisann. As a wife of over 24 years and mother of two, I deeply value family and the important role it plays in our lives. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Health from Arizona Christian University (formerly Southwestern College) and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling with a minor in Human Resources-Substance Abuse Counseling from Ottawa University. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, including combat veterans from various eras, troubled adolescent females in a locked mental health facility, male adolescent sex offenders, and adults of all ages dealing with serious mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety, psychosis, and personality disorders. My passion lies in helping individuals identify, process, and heal from painful experiences that impact their daily lives. Trauma can take many forms, and I believe it must be processed in a safe and nonjudgmental environment for healing to occur. I truly believe there is hope for anyone willing to put in the hard work; it's just a matter of finding the right support to walk the healing journey with. I also feel a special calling to support those working in the adult industry and individuals who have been trafficked. In my practice, I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems, trauma-informed care, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. Currently, I am located in North Texas and offer tele-health sessions for clients in Arizona.
