Getting to know Krista Bartosch

It takes great strength to reach out to another for help, so the one you choose must be someone you can feel free to open up to, trust, and respect. I am confident I can provide that for you! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Addictions Specialist, with certification in EMDR. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Temple University. I have over 19 years of experience working in a myriad of areas, including domestic violence, addiction, depression, anxiety, and reentry. I also have experience supporting people who have struggled with trauma. I am a compassionate therapist who believes in the power of genuine connection and trust in the therapeutic process. I use a humanistic approach that focuses on utilizing one’s own strengths and tools to achieve their desired outcomes. My goal is to create a safe and nonjudgmental environment where you can openly express yourself. My therapeutic, holistic approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic therapy, all tailored to each client’s unique needs. I believe counseling is not about blaming our past but rather about understanding our thoughts and behaviors. I look forward to working collaboratively with you on your journey to discover the most effective approach for your personal path of self-discovery and happiness.
