Getting to know Krista Crabtree

Krista is a compassionate clinician who has been part of ABHS since the winter of 2024. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from West Virginia University and later completed her Master of Social Work at the University of Southern California while working full-time with vulnerable children and families. Through these experiences, Krista developed a deep understanding of the ways trauma can shape a person’s sense of safety, identity, and connection. Krista’s practice is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, approached through a trauma-informed lens. She works collaboratively with clients to help them recognize the links between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, while honoring the coping strategies that have helped them navigate difficult experiences.
