Kristen Bensley, LCSW

Kristen Bensley, LCSW

Psychotherapist
FL
I have always been drawn to understanding people and their stories, emotions, and the ways they make sense of lifeâs challenges. That curiosity eventually led me to the field of mental health, where I found my calling in helping others find meaning, healing, and growth through therapy. I believe that emotional wellbeing is essential to living a full and balanced life. None of us are meant to navigate pain or uncertainty alone, and seeking help is one of the bravest steps a person can take. I see therapy as a space where you can slow down, be heard, and begin to make sense of whatâs happening inside and around you. In my work with adults and couples, I support people who are navigating challenges like anxiety, depression, addiction, grief, and major life transitions. What I love most about this work is watching clients reconnect with parts of themselves they may have lost along the way, rediscovering strength, resilience, and hope in the process. My approach is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and collaboration. I will meet you where you are, without judgment, and together weâll work toward understanding your story and creating meaningful change. Therapy isnât about fixing you, it is about helping you uncover the clarity, confidence, and balance that already exist within you.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
