Kristen is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate who received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University after obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2015. A North Carolina native, Kristen is thrilled to serve the needs of clients in her hometown.
She has experience working with clients of all ages in a variety of settings, including schools, outpatient clinics, and home-based therapy. Kristen enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families to reach goals and improve quality of life through open communication and mindfulness. She also has experience working with children, teens, and young adults on the autism spectrum through ABA therapy.
Kristen believes the therapy experience should be as unique as each individual. She draws upon a wide range of theories to meet the needs of each client, including Cognitive Behavioral, Person-Centered, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
In her free time, Kristen enjoys spending time with her children, family, and friends. She also enjoys reading, supporting local artists and musicians, traveling, and exploring historic landmarks.
