Kristen Campbell, LPC

Psychotherapist
TX
Kristen’s journey into counseling began with a genuine love for helping people feel seen and supported. After earning her degree from West Texas A&M and spending several years in education, she followed her heart back home to North Texas and completed her Master’s in Counseling. She started out as a school counselor, walking alongside students through all of life’s ups and downs. Now, in private practice, Kristen helps adults navigate their own versions of that rollercoaster—whether that’s anxiety, college life, heartbreak, big life changes, or just trying to make sense of where life’s headed next. Kristen has a special place in her heart for Millennials and Gen Zs who are figuring out adulthood and trying to keep it all together. She also works with first responders, professionals, and anyone adjusting after life transitions. No matter what you’re facing, Kristen creates a warm, down-to-earth space where you can breathe, talk things out, and start feeling like yourself again.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You don’t have to face the hard stuff alone. Whether you’re looking for calm, clarity, or just a way to get unstuck, I’m here to listen, support, & guide you. Therapy doesn’t have to feel scary or stuffy. Therapy can be gently and personal. A safe space where you're truly heard. Ready to take the next step? Reach out. I’d love to walk this path with you!

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process is all about making therapy feel comfortable, supportive, and tailored to you. Here’s what you can expect when we work together: First Session: Getting to Know You Our first full session is all about understanding you. We’ll talk about your history, what’s been going on, and what you hope to get out of therapy. It’s a relaxed, open conversation—no judgment, just support. Creating a Game Plan Together, we’ll come up with a plan that makes sense for you. I use different therapy approaches (CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused, Internal Family Systems—whatever fits best!) to help you navigate challenges and build the skills you need. Ongoing Support & Growth Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. Some people like structured sessions with clear goals, while others need a safe space to process and unpack things. However you work best, I’ll meet you there. Progress Check-Ins Every so often, we’ll check in on how things are going—what’s working, what’s not, and if we need to switch things up. The goal is always for you to leave therapy feeling more confident, empowered, and in control of your life. Wrapping Up (When You're Ready!) Therapy doesn’t last forever (unless you want it to!). When you feel ready, we’ll talk about next steps, coping strategies, and how to keep growing outside of sessions. Throughout it all, I’m here to support you—whether you’re showing up with a clear goal in mind or just trying to figure it all out.
