Getting to know Kristen Oberc
Do you need a safe, non-judgmental environment to be vulnerable and explore emotions you tend to ignore? I provide that space to help you learn skills and coping strategies along the way. It is an honor to be chosen to support you on your journey toward becoming a healthier you.
I have experience working with both women and men, understanding the differences in how they process experiences and emotions. My specialties include addiction and perinatal/postpartum mental health, as well as addressing daily stressors such as work-life balance, relationships, grief, and anxiety.
I hold a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Purdue University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Phoenix. My training equips me to offer compassionate, effective care tailored to your unique needs.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I strive to provide rapport-building, be non-judgemental, and meet you where you are in your journey. As we work together, I will introduce resources, readings, and workbooks, to help support your journey outside of sessions. Teach skills and coping mechanisms in areas you would like to improve and at times push you to be a little uncomfortable as our time together grows.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
