Getting to know Kristen Plake

Are you experiencing difficulty focusing due to racing thoughts? Do you have trouble sleeping or feel like you're sleeping too much? Do you feel anxious, on edge or find yourself dissociating via social media? If you're at the point in your life where you're looking for a change and need some support and guidance through this next stage, then seeking therapy was the right choice. Often times I work with people struggling with past or recent trauma's. I also work with individuals struggling with challenging feelings. Whatever brought you here, we will collaborate and find a way to bring you peace. While I work with a variety of people with different experiences, I specialize in working with Frontline Workers (Police Officers, Firefighters, Doctors, Nurses etc.) who witness repeated trauma. I am licensed in the state of NY/NJ/DE and meet clients virtually only.

I have a conversational, direct and nonjudgmental approach when working with you and will guide you to rethink beliefs that have held you back.
