I’m Kristen, a licensed therapist offering counseling in Webster Groves, MO and virtually throughout Missouri. Speak Now Counseling is my private practice, created to offer a relational and thoughtful space for reflection and growth. I’m drawn to working with clients who want to better understand themselves, their emotions, and the patterns shaping their lives. Many of the people I work with have spent a long time holding things together quietly, competently, and often alone. Therapy is a place where you don’t have to edit yourself or find the perfect words. You can show up as you are, and we can begin to make sense of your story together.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe healing happens when you feel truly heard. Therapy with me is relational, thoughtful, and paced with care. There’s room here for complexity, contradiction, and growth. No rushing, no rewriting your story before you’re ready.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My work is grounded in a psychodynamic approach, which means I believe our present struggles often make sense when we understand where they came from. Together, we explore patterns, relationships, and emotional themes that may have been forming long before you realized they had a name.
