She obtained her graduate degree in Counseling from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. She has continued her education over the years, becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor in Wyoming before focusing on School Counseling in Utah. She returned to mental health practice almost two years ago seeing that there was a high need. She is a certified Career Development Facilitator and is working on becoming a Registered Play Therapist. She also has expertise working with women who are recovering from abusive relationships. Kristen has two cochlear implants, but she doesn't utilize sign language. She talks and reads-lips quite well and with online technology, captions are really helpful. Outside of work, Kristen enjoys spending time with her blended family, snowboarding, reading, doing anything on water, watching sporting events, and traveling.
