Kristi is a licensed independent clinical social worker with ten years of experience in working with couples and individuals who deal with trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Her background began in community mental health and has been focused on helping clients with mental health conditions like bipolar and mood disorders, ADHD, substance use disorders and personality disorders. She is caring and a great listener, however, her approach to counseling is active and highly individualized. She will often weave together different modalities like DBT, CBT, Schema Therapy, and art to be responsive to what is revealed from the unconscious and help you bring it to light. Kristi believes strongly that learning never ends. This natural curiosity has given her a deep pool to draw from. Her goal in working with you is to help you heal, energize, improve relationships, and create balance to become aware of your strengths. Kristi received her master’s degree in clinical social work from Ohio University in Athens and continued her education, earning a post-graduate certificate in Art Therapy from Edinboro University in Pennsylvania. She is an artist and musician who loves travel, doing DIY projects, and all things continuing education.
