I am Kristian Wilson, LMHC, a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor with more than 15 years of behavioral health experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups. I earned a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from Webster University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of North Florida. My clinical background includes assessment, diagnosis, individual and family counseling, couples therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, treatment and discharge planning, case management, and connecting clients with community resources. I have supported clients experiencing mental health and co-occurring disorders, trauma and PTSD, behavioral concerns, addiction-related challenges, relationship difficulties, and major life stressors. I incorporate evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused counseling, and behavioral interventions, according to individual needs. I strive to provide an affordable, respectful, and supportive environment where clients feel heard and actively involved in treatment. Together, we develop practical coping strategies, strengthen relationships, improve daily functioning, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
