Getting to know Kristie Miller

I believe we set down roots as we journey through life. Sometimes we grow abundantly through rich, fertile soil. Other times we must grow through rocky, unproductive dirt. In these times, we can find healthy ways to cope and learn to be resilient. As your therapist, I will come alongside you as you work through your challenges, whether past or present. I will listen with empathy and compassion and provide tools to help you on your journey. I will encourage you to discover your authentic self and find ways to thrive. As a licensed independent clinical social worker in Washington State, I can work with any resident of WA via Telehealth. I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Washington in 2003 and later my nursing degree in 2011. My professional background includes experience as a social worker and registered nurse working with adults, children, and families in hospital settings and home-based care. These experiences have equipped me to work with clients facing a wide range of concerns, including chronic illness, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, infertility, and grief. I take a holistic and strengths-based approach to therapy as I partner with you to develop a treatment plan that works best for you. I look forward to getting to know you and coming alongside you on your journey.
