Getting to know Kristin Far

Welcome! I’m Kristin; a mother, wife, and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers–New Brunswick. I’m passionate about helping those who struggle with OCD, anxiety, and depression get their life back. Mental health is health, and when not taken care of, it can feel crippling and debilitating. I’ve had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life; from resolving isolating compulsions and safety behaviors to building closeness with family and friends, I’ve witnessed the incredible transformations that can occur when we learn to live with compassion, authenticity, and curiosity. I know that therapy can be an intimidating journey, but I want you to know that I’ve been there too. Through my own personal experience, therapy has been such a rich environment for healing from our past and understanding our worries and fears. I find so much wonder and joy being able to help others experience the same transformation.
