**I reserve a limited number of appointments at a reduced rate for college students and individuals with limited financial means. Contact me for information.** It’s been a privilege to work for more than twenty years as a therapist and clinical social worker. I’ve had the honor of walking alongside my clients and bearing witness to some of their most life-changing and difficult experiences as they navigate changes in mental health, sense of self, relationships, and quality of life. About Me: I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and board certified diplomate (BCD) in clinical social work. I have masters (MSW) and doctorate (Ph.D.) degrees in social work and am a qualified clinical supervisor. I began my career as a therapist in 2005 at a psychiatric hospital working with individuals experiencing severe mental illness. Since then I have provided individual, group, and family therapy to adults and adolescents in community health centers, IOP/PHP programs, and private practices. I also supervised medical and doctoral students in pro-bono clinics and worked on contracts with Corrections and Healthy Start. I currently own and operate Atlantic Psychotherapy, LLC. Aa therapist, I also incorporate my research and knowledge from my work in higher education as an assistant professor, instructor, and researcher between 2015 - 2025. My research explored treatment interventions and the lived experiences of bipolar disorder, depression, and posttraumatic stress disorder. More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
