My treatment approaches are Client-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. My educational foundation is a Master's in Psychology and a second Master's in Psychology specializing in Family, Couple, and Individual Psychotherapy. I have focused training and experience, from working with children in an elementary school to family violence prevention services, group counseling, individual counseling, couple and family counseling, and military services. I am a 24-year Air Force and Army Veteran with three combat deployments, and I bring a unique understanding of deployments and family separation. I keep myself current on the latest techniques and theories to provide the best services for my clients. I am here to help. I look forward to being a part of your journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am here to help with your needs and goals. The first session will include getting to know each other and developing a plan to meet your needs and reach your goals. If there are areas of trauma I will help guide you with self-care and walk through difficult areas together, one step at a time. Everyone is different and everyone's timeline different, we will go at your pace. Each session will begin with a quick check-in to assess what is working and what needs to be adjusted. From there, this is your session, you will have the opportunity to go in the direction you need. I will check in with you about halfway to ensure we are covering what is important to you and to provide reflection. If you work best with homework or structured goals, that is something we will discuss and explore.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
