Getting to know Kristy Cramer

I believe that freedom and fullness of life are possible for you! I work from a perspective that acknowledges both the depth of mental and emotional distress and also the practical steps that recovery sometimes requires. I meet my clients where they are and without judgment. I am here to provide a safe and empathetic environment where you can grow and not have to do it alone. I have over 12 years of experience helping people get free from trauma, depression, anxiety, and relational concerns, and I have particularly extensive training in the treatment of eating disorders. I obtained my Master's degree in Counseling from MNU in 2012 and my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and English in 2005. I tend to approach therapy from a psychodynamic perspective and draw from attachment theory, using a number of evidence-based treatment modalities (ACT, CBT, DBT) to help you both get to the root of your issues and make lasting change. In my personal life, I enjoy gardening, being outdoors, hiking, pottery, traveling, and telling people about my dog whenever they will let me. I love what I do and would be honored to come alongside you!
