Getting to know Kristy Davis

I am a very empathetic and nurturing person by nature and always knew that I wanted to pursue a career in the helping professions. For two decades, I provided direct service to clients in need through my previous career in social services. Throughout that time, I gained extensive knowledge of the effects of trauma and training in mindfulness techniques for emotional regulation. I worked with diverse and disadvantaged populations with various diagnoses, such as personality disorders, depression, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, phobias, social anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). My decision to become a licensed marriage and family therapist derived from my own uncertain life transitions in my personal life along with my desire to continue to further meet my passion for helping others in their times of need.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
