What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as you are, feel heard without judgment, and explore what’s been weighing on you. I bring empathy, active listening, and sometimes a little humor into our sessions, because healing doesn’t always have to feel so heavy.

I was hesitant to try talk therapy because of my unusual work schedule that changes seasonally throughout the year, I wasn’t sure I could commit. Kristy made me feel so comfortable right away with taking it week by week and letting her know ahead of time how the week was looking before our session would be held. Very accommodating! She gave a great first impression and explained things clearly but also listened well. I’m excited to work with her!
