I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University Of Hartford in 2009. I earned a Master’s Degree in Human Services with a concentration in Clinical Counseling at Post University in 2014. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Connecticut. Since graduating, from the University of Hartford, I have worked for several organizations that have provided behavioral health services to adolescents, adults, and persons with disabilities since 2009. Between 2009 and 2012, I was employed with New Hope Manor, a residential facility for adolescent girls and boys. In 2012, I was hired as an Employment Specialist at REM CT Community Services, working at their Rocky Hill Vocational Day Program. While working as an Employment Specialist at REM CT, I took on a dual role as a clinical intern assisting with facilitating group and individual therapy sessions. In 2014, I was hired as a Behavioral Specialist at REM CT Community Services. I was charged with developing behavioral support plans, facilitating group therapy sessions, milieu counseling, and staff training. In 2015, I was hired at The Department Of Children and Families (DCF) as a Social Worker Trainee. In 2017, I was promoted to a Social Worker Investigator, and in 2018 I accepted a position at The Department of Aging and Disabilities, specifically The Bureau of Education and Services for the Blind, as a Vocational Counselor. In 2022, I opened Grace Valley Community Services—a private practice rooted in my faith. I have spent many years learning, both personally and professionally, how to be a better person, how to show up as a resource in the community, and how better to serve the people of Connecticut. I am a child of God, a minister, a mother, a wife, a daughter, and a sister with a passion for serving.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
