Psychotherapist
TX
Your journey to healing and self-discovery starts here-compassionate, personalized support for a healthier mind and a brighter future. If you want to learn about your brain, nervous system, emotions, and how these things work together to create your lived experience, come learn with me. My goal as a therapist is to integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches that best suit clients on an individual, case-by-case basis, with an emphasis on teaching you about your brain and body. I typically pull from a variety of modalities, including mindfulness, ACT, somatic processing, attachment, and more. I also try to integrate an anthropological perspective into my therapeutic approach so you can learn why humans behave and emote in the ways they do. I want to teach you about your brain and nervous system! I am also trained in EMDR therapy. I hold a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor's degree, both from the University of New Mexico. Being human is hard work! But we can make the process of being human a little easier when we are gentle with ourselves, and you're taking a beautiful step by investing in your healing journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I want to teach you about your brain, nervous system, emotions, and anthropological/evolutionary purpose behind it all. Our strengths (and struggles) developed from somewhere. Let me help you learn about your body and teach you ways to regulate using this knowledge. **Please note I am a telehealth provider only. I do not offer in-person sessions.**

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I am trained in a variety of modalities and base my therapeutic approach on the individual needs of each particular client. Let me know if you are curious about using one modality over another! This process should be flexible and catered to what works well for you. **Please note I am a telehealth provider only. I do not offer in-person sessions.**
