Psychotherapist
122 S Michigan Ave, Ste 1441, Chicago, IL
Therapy is a place to confront difficult feelings, memories, and experiences from the past and how they can arise in the present. It provides a non-judgmental, curious space where we can explore your feelings and thoughts in ways that are often difficult in the fast-paced outside world. I seek to create a space with you where we can slow down, accept, and process events that might be weighing on you, and understand patterns in your life that contribute to feeling stuck, sad, or anxious. These patterns are often helpful strategies learned from the past that worked in certain situations but may no longer serve you well. After understanding the origins and functions of these patterns, we can begin to explore new ways of responding. These patterns might appear in work, romantic relationships, friendships, jobs, social activities, families, or life in general. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from the Institute for Clinical Social Work (ICSW) and a Bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University. I would welcome meeting with you and learning how I can help.
