Leap of Faith MHC PLLC is dedicated to providing quality care for our clients. As the Founder, I intentionally hired gifted mind shifters to help others transform into better versions of themselves. Life is tough, and it is important that you don't allow your wounds to define it. Here at Leap of Faith MHC, we know that our clients are triumphant, and it is our job to support you in rewriting your story. We strive to empower our clients to "deny conforming to this world and become transformed by the renewing of their minds." History has a strange way of repeating itself, and it is Leap of Faith MHC's obligation to identify the root of your wounds, eradicate it, and replace it with new coping strategies. We are intentional with our approaches to support you in creating the best version of yourself. You'll never know your full potential until you take a leap of faith. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Fordham University, which guides my commitment to compassionate and effective care.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Welcome, everyone needs support and some people find it difficult to make the first step, well, congratulations because the most difficult part is over, here where you're able to take a leap of faith and become a better version of yourself in a safe environment . My name is Kym, and I am described as supportive, goal oriented and patient. I have experience working with clients that encountered substance abuse, trauma, anxiety and depression. By using various interventions such as CBT, DBT and more, together, we will develop goals pivotal to your treatment progress.
I believe that we are created in a unique way, therefore our treatment goals should be a reflection of our uniqueness and individuality, while working together, I am intentional and strategic about supporting my clients to help them achieve their treatment goals.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Putting the client first is priority , and moving forward with our clients must include your willingness and dedication to the process of change. We need your yes to encounter a life changing transformation! Clients will be encouraged to explore different techniques through the use of homework and different exercises during sessions. My clients will be pushed to identify their boundaries and challenged to engage in new ways of thinking throughout the process, identifying your triggers will be key in our work together and developing new coping strategies.
As a Bronx native my encounters has fostered my belief in community and serving in multiple ways. I have 15 years of experience of supporting individuals through supervision, curriculum building, and advocacy. Providing quality care as an LMSW, I believe that with the right support, all people can prosper and become healthier individuals mentally, physically, and emotionally. I am here to support you every step of the way.
