Getting to know Kyrbi Davis

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work from Aurora University and have been working in the field for over 8 years. I also served in the United States Army. I have worked with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, identity concerns, life transition issues, relationship challenges, family of origin matters, and a variety of other life stressors. Additionally, I support clients in developing healthy relationships and identifying effective coping skills.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My particular therapy style is genuine and attentive. I believe that it takes a great deal of courage to tell someone that you don't know about your life and struggles you're having. The approaches I utilize are cognitive behavioral, motivational interviewing, reality testing, dialectical behavioral, client centered therapy and narrative therapy. With every person I work with I utilize approaches and techniques that best fit the individual. I realize that life can have its challenges and some moments are better than others. During difficult or uncertain times it can help to know you're not alone. I hope you will take this first step, and look forward to working with you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first step would be booking an initial 15-20 minutes consult appointment with me. During the consult I would answer any questions that you have about therapy and provide you with information about the services I provide. From there, if you decide you would like to book a session, I would then provide you with the new client paperwork, and we would schedule a time that works best for you.

Ongoing session: $125 for 60 minutes

Sliding scale: Offers lower out-of-pocket fees on an individual basis, typically based on your ability to pay

I'm currently a private pay provider which means that you would need to be able to pay for sessions. If you have insurance, you may be able to seek reimbursement from your insurance provider, and I can provide a super bill for your reimbursement.
