Getting to know Lakeisha Ramsey

Hi, I'm Lakeisha, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Military Veteran dedicated to supporting individuals as they navigate life's challenges. I aim to provide a safe nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable with exploring your thoughts, emotions and experiences at your own pace. My approach is collaborative, compassionate and tailored to your unique needs. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, past trauma, relationship issues or simply feeling stuck. I believe that with the right support, anyone has the capacity for growth, healing and change. I'm here to walk you through that process. I earned a Bachelor of Social Work from the Methodist University of North Carolina in 2005. Then I obtained a Master of Social Work with a focus on Individuals and Families/Clinical Mental Health from the University of South Carolina in 2007. I have been practicing Social Work for 17 years and have worked in several different sectors including Outpatient Therapy, Hospital, Medical, Psych Unit and discharge planning. Department of Social Services, Military, Group Homes, Community Services Boards, Community Mental Health Agencies, Jails, Collaboratively we will develop a treatment plan to help you better understand your thoughts and emotions, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful changes in how you handle life's challenges while establishing tools to assist you with reaching your goals.
