What should a new client know about working with you?

I currently offer telehealth. I'm available on most evenings and weekends. I offer person centered therapy, education of behaviors, encourage negative thought stopping techniques with CBT (change negative thoughts), DBT (encourage mindfulness and awareness), and coping skills which will increase the need for internal and external change. Let's do the work together so you do not have to feel alone. I offer understanding and respect for each individual that attend my sessions.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. With CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During treatment, I'll help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better.
