Getting to know Lakwan Alleyne-Hall

I am a trained Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse University. I work from a strength-based approach to help guide you toward your goals. I am deeply interested in supporting individuals working through childhood trauma, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, family challenges, and work-related stress. I specialize in working with young adults and elderly Queer POC. Additionally, I collaborate closely with parents to develop parenting skills and navigate the feelings and emotions that arise in the parenting journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I truly believe that as humans, we all struggle to manage some of these emotions, and we are all more than capable of overcoming them and connecting more with ourselves by doing so. A lot of the experiences we have today may come from childhood trauma, experiences we’ve had in our relationships, or even oppressions we have faced in the world. I work to guide you through a trauma-informed lens to help you gain a better understanding of your emotions and your experiences to help you heal.
