Her main counseling modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), which she utilizes to help clients navigate challenges and develop healthy coping mechanisms.
In addition to her work as a mental health counselor, Lanae is a certified Parent Coach specializing in working with caregivers of young children. She helps parents foster more sensitive, responsive caregiving practices, while also nurturing stronger bonds and attachments with their children. I loved working with Ms.Petrus she is very kind and welcoming. She made sure I was comfortable and ready to talk in our sessions. Doesn’t push too hard and creates a safe space for me. It feels like I am talking to somebody I know. I would highly recommend her to anybody who needs these sessions.

I loved Ms.Petrus she is very welcoming and makes you feel comfortable right away. I felt like I was talking to a friend. She is very punctual with her time for all our sessions and always has time to speak to me if I need a little help outside our sessions. I would highly recommend her.
