What is your typical process for working with clients?

I always like to ask my clients this important question, "If you could go to sleep and wake up tomorrow and your issue was resolved, how would life be different?" We call this, the miracle question. I like it because it challenges the client to be vulnerable and hopeful in expressing how their lives could improve if their main concerns are addressed. It allows me to better understand their perspective of their circumstances. It also gives me an idea of the type of solutions that the client may want to focus on. More than that, clients can expect kindness, warmth and empathy in all sessions. I may also ask for brief feedback about their experience. If we seem to be a good fit, they can expect me to schedule their next session. Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths. Having worked in the mental health field for 6 years, I have strengthened my ability to actively listen, demonstrate empathy and co-create promising treatment plans that will help you live the life of your dreams.
