Psychotherapist
1123 Clairmont Rd, Decatur, GA
Let's be honest. Going to counseling isn't easy. It takes a lot of courage to begin the search, and you want to find a therapist who's a good fit for you. Me? I'm a therapist and advocate who deeply believes you deserve to be treated with dignity and respect no matter who you are. I hold a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Master's in Divinity from Mercer University, where I also earned my Bachelor's degree. In the counseling room, you'll find me genuine, creative, and laid back. Fun facts? I love waterfalls, Trader Joe's, and chips and guac! I'm also the proud mother of two who remind me to find joy in the simple moments. I believe counseling should be a safe place to process anything without judgment. I believe you have permission to take up space in the world. I believe we all have the capacity to tap into the deep wisdom within us, and doing so helps us reclaim our power and our stories. I believe creativity is a practice of our authenticity, so you may find me bringing creative resources into your sessions from time to time. I also believe spirituality is an important part of self, and you should be able to talk about your beliefs-or lack thereof-without someone telling you what you should or shouldn't believe.
