As we navigate the roller coaster of life and the complexities that relationships can bring, we will not walk away unaffected. I strongly believe that “silence kills,” and facing our issues by talking about them is the only way to resolve them. As a licensed marriage and family therapist with a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pfeiffer University, my goal is to encourage and support individuals, couples, adolescents, and families to increase personal awareness, strengths, and connection with others. Together, we will unravel the knots in your soul and the splinters in your mind. I like to use an eclectic approach that involves systemic therapy techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Experiential Therapy, EMDR, Solution Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Gottman techniques. I also utilize the Prepare and Enrich Curriculum for premarital couples. My clients have dealt with a variety of issues including grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, anger issues, substance use issues, marital separation or challenges, premarital counseling, intimate partner violence, and more. I am passionate about helping women, specifically new moms, develop self-care practices, as well as aiding couples in increasing their intimate connection and spark.
