Larissa appreciates clients who are willing to step out of their comfort zones, keep an open mind, incorporate new techniques, and embrace challenges. Specializing in addiction treatment, Larissa utilizes a harm reduction approach, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and continuously reviews stages of change with clients. When clients are willing, motivated, and able, she supports them in improving their quality of life. Larissa holds an MEd in Mental Health and Addictions Counseling from Cambridge College. Her goal is to help clients return to the basics. In today’s world filled with distractions, we often lose ourselves to the point of becoming unrecognizable. Larissa aims to guide clients to look within, challenge themselves, and practice self-compassion along the way.
