What should a new client know about working with you?

I strive to create a safe, comfortable, and supportive space where women feel heard, valued, and understood. As a counselor, I am patient, kind, and empathetic—qualities shaped by my experiences as a school counselor, wife, mother, and woman navigating life’s challenges. During the intake process, I take the time to truly listen and understand each client’s unique journey. Progress looks different for everyone, but I focus on helping women build resilience, self-awareness, and practical coping strategies in a judgment-free environment.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I offer virtual therapy sessions designed to be just as meaningful, supportive, and effective as in-person sessions. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space where clients can openly express their thoughts, emotions, and struggles—no matter where they are. Step 1: The First Connection – Free Consultation I understand that starting therapy can feel overwhelming. That’s why I offer a free 15-minute consultation to discuss your concerns, answer questions, and determine if we’re a good fit. Step 2: The First Full Session – Understanding Your Story ? What We Cover: We begin by discussing your concerns, goals, and what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask about your background, emotional challenges, relationships, and past experiences. You’ll have space to share at your own pace—there’s no pressure. Step 3: Ongoing Therapy Sessions – Talk Therapy & Personalized Support My sessions primarily incorporate talk therapy (psychotherapy), where we: ? Explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to uncover patterns. ? Identify coping strategies to manage stress, anxiety, grief, or life transitions. ? Work through challenges in a judgment-free space. ? Empower you with tools to improve your emotional well-being. ?? Virtual Sessions, Real Impact Even though our sessions are virtual, they are deeply personal and interactive. I use: Reflective listening to help you feel heard and validated. Guided discussions that encourage self-discovery and emotional growth. Practical coping techniques that can be applied in real life. Step 4: Growth & Progress Therapy is a journey, not a quick fix. We will: ? Set achievable goals for your emotional well-being. ? Celebrate small victories along the way. ? Adjust your treatment plan as you grow. Step 5: Transitioning Out of Therapy ? Once you’ve developed strong coping skills and feel more confident, we’ll discuss reducing session frequency or transitioning out of therapy.
