Getting to know Larkin Berkley
Asking for help or support can be scary. Making that step to get therapy takes a great deal of strength. Therapy gives people the opportunity to develop effective and healthy responses to life's stressors. I work to create a safe holding environment that allows you to feel comfortable being yourself. I collaborate with clients to help them develop awareness of their behaviors, thoughts, patterns, and feelings.
I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University. I have worked in inpatient addiction treatment centers, inpatient trauma centers, and have provided family-based therapy. I support adults dealing with anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship stress, ADHD, identity exploration, self-esteem, and grief. We will work at your pace, and I am here to help you empower yourself.
I offer free 15-minute consultations because you are in charge of who you want to work with. Reach out if you would like to explore working together.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I will try to get an understanding as to what brings you to therapy, explain what therapy will be like as well as policies. After about a month of sessions we will create a treatment plan. I do focus on building a trusting, transparent, and unconditional positive regarding relationship with clients. Research has shown the better the relationship the more improvements the client makes.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
