In OCD therapy, we'll use exposure response prevention (ERP) therapy, which will allow you to confront your fears. Over time, it will diminish the fear response. Therapy can be difficult at times, but with honesty, consistency, and a trusting relationship between member and therapist, successful treatment is the outcome. The most gratifying part of my job happens when an individual discovers that change comes from within themselves, regardless of whether their circumstances have changed. In addition to OCD, I also focus on treating trauma, substance use disorder, and family dynamics.
