Hello, I am Latecia Oaks. I am a licensed Master of Social Work providing psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based therapy to clients in need. I earned my Bachelor's in Psychology from Prairie View A&M University and my Master's in Advance Clinical Practice Social Work from Walden University. I am a passionate, nonjudgmental, empathetic therapist with strong counseling abilities and an understanding of interpersonal familial relationships. I have experience leading clients through grief, stress, anxiety, life transitions, family conflict, trauma, abuse, career challenges, and emotional disturbances. Through clinical experience, compassion, and empathy, I support and assist those willing to make a positive difference in their lives. I pride myself on providing a safe and supportive space to work side by side to overcome traumas and barriers.
