What should a new client know about working with you?

Latisha had the privilege of working with diverse clients facing a range of challenges by integrating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Motivational Interviewing to empower clients to make lasting changes in their lives. Emotional healing is as important as your spiritual and physical well-being. You wouldn't neglect a broken leg, so don't live with a broken mind. Latisha is dedicated to providing a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their feelings, develop coping strategies, and strengthen their relationships.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

1. During your first session, your therapist will: -Review the intake paperwork -Verify Insurance and/ or Payment Preferences -Complete an Initial Assessment (biopsychosical) and discuss Treatment Goals. 2. Ongoing Therapy At BCS, we use a variety of therapeutic approaches to help you meet your goals. Typically, you and your therapist will meet at the same time every week. Sessions are 50 minutes long. As therapy progresses, you and your therapist may decide on the best session frequency (weekly, biweekly, monthly). You may continue your work with your therapist for as long as you both see fit. 3. Discharge Throughout your healing journey, we will review the progress that has been made during the duration of your therapy sessions. We will proceed towards discharge when: -Your goals have been met; or -The maximum therapeutic potential reached. *Therapeutic Resources and Community Referrals will also be provided, if needed.
