I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and have extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient care. My background includes individual counseling, crisis intervention, psychosocial assessment, substance use assessment, case management, discharge planning, and care coordination. I have worked in emergency departments, intensive care, oncology, medical-surgical, orthopedic, hospice, short-term acute-care, and long-term acute-care settings. I also provide telehealth behavioral health services and have supported clients experiencing mental health concerns, substance use challenges, serious or terminal illness, hospitalization, and complex life transitions. My approach is compassionate, practical, and centered on each client's unique needs, strengths, and circumstances. I strive to create a respectful and supportive environment where clients feel heard while exploring challenges and identifying achievable goals. Through collaborative assessment, counseling, and connection to appropriate resources, I help clients strengthen coping skills, navigate healthcare and community systems, prepare for transitions in care, and make informed decisions. My goal is to promote emotional well-being, stability, safety, and meaningful progress for every client I serve.
