What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy is an intimate, sometimes uncomfortable yet rewarding process that aids mental health and overall wellbeing, thus I view it as a collaborative relationship wherein we work together on treatment. This involves self-reflecting, skill-building, goal-setting, and application. While challenging clients to delve deep beyond the surface, respect is always priority and guides my approach and our therapeutic relationship.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During the first session, it is typical to discuss the visit reason, background info, and develop a treatment plan together. Ongoing sessions allow further exploration of root factors contributing to current distress in addition to activating skills or goals from the treatment plan.
