Hello, my name is Laura. I received my Master of Clinical Social Work degree from Rutgers University with a focus on providing mental health services to individuals in need. I have background working with individuals, families, & groups of various ages within inpatient and outpatient settings. I have training in Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), & Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Lets face it---finding a suitable therapist can be scary and uncertain, right? It's like a bag of Skittles--never know what you're going to get. If you are seeking therapy for yourself, look no further! My goal in building a therapeutic relationship involves helping individuals feel they can be themselves. I value providing a nonjudgmental, warm, uplifting environment where you can feel free to let the tears fall or laugh your tail off. I provide knowledge & skills to manage a multitude of needs-- some including trauma, moods, psychosis, transitions, relationships, substance use, positive parenting, validation, self-harm, risky
behaviors, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, & more. No matter your path, I encourage a comfortable atmosphere where the focus is on you developing your Life Worth Living goals.

Don't bother with this therapist. I tried setting up my appointment.
She cancelled even though I told them I had a deadline at my school.
She then rescheduled and cancelled that too. Wish i would have read the reviews before going with her.

This woman, had me booked and then her assistant called me to say that they are canceling my first appointment and moving it out to the middle of the month, so not very reliable??

I spoke with & explained why I needed to see the doctor and was told I would be helped & then during appt told no..seems fishy just to get me to see the doctor for them to not help me at all.
