Getting to know Laura Jeanis

I am Laura Armide, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. Thank you for choosing me to guide you on your journey of healing and inner child integration. Originally from North Miami, FL, I have witnessed and experienced traumas that no adult or child should ever endure. My upbringing and environment robbed me of the simple pleasures of safety, peace, healthy love, and high self-esteem. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haïti, I understand firsthand how unhealed traumas can impact an individual and their entire culture. My dream is to help others break unhealed generational traumas and live as their best and highest selves. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Florida Memorial University and my Master’s in Social Work from Barry University. I specialize in treating Complex and Chronic Trauma, PTSD, Anxiety Disorders, Dissociation, Catatonia, Coping Skills, Depression, Low Self-Esteem, Grief, Narcissistic Abuse Recovery, Family Conflicts, Divorce, Relationship Issues, Social and Communication Skills, Inner Child Healing, and more. I work with individuals, families, couples, and groups (retreats coming soon).
