I earned my Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology with a subspecialization in neuropsychology from the University of Texas at Tyler. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I combine my practical experience with my knowledge of the brain and mental health to provide comprehensive care to my clients. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working in a dementia and aging clinic, a residential childcare facility, an inpatient psychiatric hospital, and a clinic for teens and adults with various mental and behavioral health concerns. These diverse experiences have equipped me to confidently support a wide range of clients, from children to adults, with specific diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more general life challenges like break-ups, parenting, and life transitions. My approach to therapy is always collaborative. We'll work together to find the style of therapy that best fits your personal needs because there is no one-size-fits-all in mental health. I believe the best way to help someone is to understand how they think, behave, and act in their unique environment. I enjoy exploring thinking patterns and how they influence behaviors, as understanding what drives our actions is often the first step in changing them. I also value teaching ways to find more enjoyment, satisfaction, and peace in everyday living.
