You may struggle with focus, procrastination, emotion regulation, or follow-through, and find yourself feeling frustrated or discouraged without fully understanding why everyday tasks feel so hard. Adults with ADHD often seek therapy for challenges such as feeling overwhelmed, having difficulty starting or finishing tasks, procrastination followed by guilt, emotional sensitivity, or sensitivity to rejection. The provider is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern Living with ADHD as an adult can feel confusing, overwhelming, and exhausting. Adults with ADHD often seek therapy for challenges such as feeling overwhelmed, having difficulty starting or finishing tasks, procrastination followed by guilt, emotional sensitivity, or sensitivity to rejection. What should a new client know about working with you?

While ADHD is a primary focus, I also work with anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I believe therapy is a collaborative process. We will work together to understand your patterns, identify what's getting in your way, and develop practical tools that feel realistic and sustainable. I use a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and existential therapy.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My therapeutic style is warm, supportive, and adaptable. I value client feedback and believe that if something isn't working, we can adjust together. When appropriate, I also incorporate humor into sessions. It's okay if you're not sure where to start. Therapy is a place where we can make sense of things together.
