Internal turmoil can take many forms. People often feel they should be happy when they are not. We get stuck in behavioral ruts, doing things we dislike and not pursuing our goals or passions. We can feel torn between a desire to connect with others and to protect ourselves. We often fear difference, judgment, and the unknown in our futures. I believe this turmoil is not a sign something is wrong, but an invitation to listen to our bodies and souls. To listen is to turn toward alignment and take steps toward self-awareness and joy. As a therapist, I am a witness to this journey and a fellow traveler. It’s my work to create a supportive space where your thoughts, behaviors, and emotions can be explored with curiosity, kindness, and pragmatism. Together, we will look at discomfort and explore the insight it offers. I will ask questions that help you connect to yourself and find meaning in your discomfort. You will be given tools to map your thoughts, associations, physical experiences, and emotional states. We will practice being present for experience and feeling where there is openness and restriction. We will greet all emotions—pain, joy, insecurity, vanity, and more—with a spirit of inquiry. In doing so, you will know yourself better, feel more grounded, and become more capable of being fully present and content in everyday life. I have experience helping clients address anxiety, grief, depression, life transitions, relationship difficulties, career goals, and identity issues. My approach varies depending on individual needs and considers all aspects of wellbeing—mind, body, and spirit—when planning treatment. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling from Northeastern University, which has equipped me with a strong foundation to support clients on their paths to healing and growth.
